I guess today I am deciding to actually fire up this blog? I own so many outlets but nothing is really set in stone as a place for me to write my opinion on…. everything. I suppose I would link out from here to things I might publish elsewhere but for the most part, I will probably use this as my forum to voice my own ignorant opinions on everything that doesn’t otherwise have a designated place.
A new expression? No, probably not, but a new forum for me to express, built out of an old idea I never went through with. So here it is, FuckinHostile.com, reigniting the flame of what was a good idea before its time. I’m glad I didn’t give up the URL, as it holds a special place in my heart.
If you’re reading this, there’s either something wrong with you mentally and you agree with whatever demented pattern of events shaped my mind to create whatever it is that inspired you to arrive here, or you are studying up on what makes an insane person tick. Am I violent? I don’t think so, though I do not fear violence. Am I hostile? Very much so, and determined to use my hostility non-violently to affect a positive change in man-kind.
This blog won’t be all political. In fact my intention is to talk about all facets of my life, when the mood strikes me to share, no matter the subject. Why you would want to read about it is up to you. Why I want to share it with the world… that reason stays with me.
In this new, brief, re-introduction to myself, I will share with you a piece of what makes me tick: I am a man who struggles every day to find a place to fit in, within a world that does not accept the odd shape that I am. Imagine trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. I am the square peg, and this world is the round hole.
Why do I feel this way? Because unlike everyone around me, I recognize just how fucking ignorant we are. I recognize my own faults and see them as not only my personal downfall, but as the flaws of all mankind. I too am equally as ignorant as the rest of you, and “the only way to fix it is to flush it all away” or to recognize and accept, as a civilization, that we are inherently flawed, recognize that flaw, and work to overcome it.
In this age of denial, war and expensive toys, we are dumbing down. Our devolution is in progress. How we face this challenge will forever change the fate of man, and I don’t intend to be silent about it.
